International Exhibition "Education"

The 17th Exhibition 2015 Education International, will take place from 6 to 8 March 2015, in the City of Techno polis of Athens. Stadiodromio- employment Festival will be held simultaneously in the same place.

A very high percentage of Greek students still choose to study in foreign educational institutions, so that Greece's top recruiting students for the European market. Education is the only education fair in Greece for over 16 years. It has established itself as the meeting point for students and educational institutions in almost 17 countries.

Celebrating the 17th birthday of the Fair of Education, who are making five major changes to the format of the Fair:
1. This year, the Fair is moving its headquarters to the city of Techno Polis Athens, in the center of Athens, which has become the meeting point for young Athenians. Techno polis City of Athens, attracts thousands of visitors thanks to its easy access, wide recognition, attractive environment and adequate facilities.
2. By changing the classic cabins with Table-Top-Meetings (TTM) concept, we all simpler and significantly reduce the cost of participation for exhibitors process. It also makes all the "lighter" and more accessible to students. Fair

For the first time, B2B meetings with 25 educators in the Balkans (Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey) pre-programmed will establish links with leading professionals from other countries. The education consultants, who will be invited to the Fair by the organizers and staying in Athens, broad casted in their countries the information contained in the exhibition.
4. All forms of exhibitors (maximum 30 minutes) will be presented through web streaming on our website and linked to our face book (70,000 taste!) For direct information not may attend in particular in other regions Greece. Book will be strictly prioritized.
5. Finally, be strong advertising campaign through social media and the Internet, including exhibitors through links and web presentations.

Euro guidance collects, disseminates and exchanges information on Opportunities for international mobility• The systems of education, training and guidance in the Member States of the EU and EEA country and candidate countries
• European initiatives and programs in the field of education, training and mobility
• The results of the projects, innovative working methods and best practices in the field of lifelong guidance

ACADEMIA:


Academia is a network that provides training opportunities for career guidance in European countries. Academy offers participants the opportunity to learn the system of guidance practice in another European country.
  •  Each year, about 250 guidance counselors involved in exchanges of the Academy. 
  • The exchanges are typically performed as a member of a group of approx. 10 guiding in Europe.The training courses last a week between February and May and are supported by the Erasmus + program. Participants receive a grant for the cost of accommodation, travel and subsistence-working languages of the exchanges are English, French, Spanish or German. Some countries organize preparatory courses for participants, and participants can also obtain a Euro pass mobility pass to check what they have learned during the exchange.
  • Objectives and training issues:
  • Usually, the week of the Academy consists of visits to organizations that provide guidance and advice, discussion groups, conferences and job shadowing career guidance. Exchanges can also focus on a specific topic.

The Euro guidance network (55 centers in 32 countries of the EU) is a network of centers linking together the careers guidance systems in Europe. Euro guidance promotes mobility, helping guidance counselors and individuals to better understand the opportunities available to European citizens throughout Europe. This database includes examples of good practice in counseling, projects relating to tools and resources useful guidance and orientation of member countries Euro guidance. The projects are searchable by topic, target group or country.

This database includes interesting initiatives related to lifelong guidance policies and practices of member countries ELGPN. The cases are selected and promoted by national representatives ELGPN. The format of these examples is based on Knowledge System of the European Commission for Lifelong Learning (KSLLL). Examples include an additional narrative description for those who want more details of the implementation of the practice. The examples are gategorised according to the priorities of the EU Council 2008 Resolution on the integration of better lifelong guidance into lifelong learning strategies and manual OECD / EU 2004 for policy makers guidance.
